XTA FAILING to Consult the Wybong Community

Xstrata Mangoola P/L have announced further Community Information Sessions to be held commencing in July 2009.
Following representation made by Wybong Action Group to Xstrata Mangoola, Muswellbrook Shire Council and NSW Planning, Community Information Sessions will now be held on rotation in Denman, Sandy Hollow and Wybong on a quarterly basis.
The Next Xstrata Mangoola Wybong Community Information Session is on at ????????????? Wybong Hall between 2-7pmWybong Action Group encourages all members of the Wybong, Yarraman, Manobalai, Cuan Cua and Castle Rock Communities to attend Community Information Sessions to obtain and provide first hand information.
October 2009 - March 2010
No Community Meetings Held since October 2009, five months despite commitment to quarterly. Obviously Community Consultation is low on the Xstrata list of priorities. You have to question Xstrata abiding any Conditions of Consent or conditions relating to Community Consultation unless ordered and the seriousness to them of that commitment.
We regard Community in the common sense of 'all persons within or having an interest within, a defined area. - precluding those engaged in Statutory, Government or Semi-Government Authority.
